Everyone was dancing, and jumping about. They all seemed to be under some strange curse that made their bodies jerk and flail wildly. Professors didn’t seem a tad interested in their freakish behavior. If this was a curse then the students were obviously doomed since their protectors were more interested in their own love lives than students behaving like freaks. But once the music stopped so did their bizarre behavior. Either it was linked to the music and Saffron was thankfully immune or this was what teenagers called dancing.
Some students were panting, others yelling, some plainly sweating, and the last group racing for drinks and seats. Every one of the people on the dance floor seemed exhausted by the events that had just passed. Thank Merlin, the god awful music finally came to a halt. The group was promising they would return after drinks and sweets. Oh god more sugar plus hyper musicians definitely equaled abominable music.
She figured the room would be a bit more tolerable since they stopped, but Saffron was wrong. Her head began to pound and a feeling of sudden nausea took over. Her body felt weird as if it were trying to burst out of her body. She grabbed her bag and dashed off to the closest loo as if she were about to retch right inside the Great Hall. She could feel her body knocking into other people that were standing about. But she didn’t want them to see her like this and she knew why. As she past the doors and headed down the hall, her shoes clicked loudly and rapidly as she ran to the bathroom to stop what was occurring.
Saffron’s body swayed from left to right as she dashed out the hall and up a flight of stairs into a deserted girls’ bathroom. As she came in she stumbled to the ground. Her fingers jerked rapidly and her head felt like it was about to explode. Damn, it couldn’t happen now!
She rummaged into through her bag looking for medicine. Anything to stop the pain and the bad withdrawal she was experiencing. A few ribbons and galleons were thrown onto the bathroom floor. As the coins hit the tiled floor they clinked about until they reached a stop and fell over. She whipped out what appeared to be a pair of glasses in a case. She couldn’t find the little jar.
She put it in there, and this was her bag. It had to be in there, Saffron was positive. She knew better than to go anywhere in school without her medicine, she didn’t need to get sick in class. It would ruin everything she had worked up to. Merlin, it had to be in her bag.
Saffron finally spotted a shiny silver bottle sparkling from the depths of her now empty bag. She was ready to pull it out when she heard the door to the bathroom open abruptly. No, not Moaning Myrtle, everyone on school heard how she enjoyed snitching on students. She loved to tattle on events that occurred in the bathroom, like Cindy Sheppard a seventh year was caught in the Moaning’s bathroom shagging the seventh year Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain. Now he’s on permanent detention with Snape and the only quidditch he sees it the muddy clothes he’s forced to watch. Finally the door was open and a pair of women’s shoes where in her view. Obviously this wasn’t Moaning Myrtle.
Saffon grabbed her wand and pointed it directly at Nicole McFarland. Saffron eyes seemed to glow read as she steadily pointed the wand at the girl. Once false move and it was the end…

Nikki had to pee really really bad, but the music was and the conversations were highly amusing, which was why she needed to go to the bathroom. One of her friends wouldn't stop making her laugh. Setting her plate of desserts down, Nikki sprinted from the Great Hall, apologizing to the people she bumped into along the way. Then up the stairs and into the bathroom. What she saw there...well she completely forgot about going to the bathroom.
Standing the open area of the bathroom was Saffron with her wand pointing right at Nikki. She looked sick, and Nikki would have asked if she needed help, but...well she was pointing a wand at her.
"Uh...sorry," Nikki said with a soft, frightened giggle, "is this bathroom taken? I'll just...take the one three floors up...yeah..."

The other girl was stumbling on words and Saffron was a bit confused. She couldn’t let the brat run and tell Lupin or Snape. They’d discover everything, the plan would fail. She would fail. Saffron wasn’t a failure, and so she quickly pointed her wand at the exit and locked her and the girl inside. There would be no place for little Nikki to run off to. Her friends couldn’t help her now.
“No one can help you now.” She said in raspy voice. “You are mine…” Her voice trailed off and she knew if she didn’t take her medicine, it would be all over.
Saffron went for the silver bottle she had retrieved from her bag. Struggling, she popped the top off and placed it to her lips. She took a swig of the stuff, momentarily felt the urge to retch. She crawled to one of the loos and hoped she wouldn’t succumb to the urge. Saffron new the other girl was stuck. A simple alohomora would not open the bathroom door. So Saffron took her time gathering her strength. And once the feeling was gone. She stood up with an evil twisted look plastered on her face.
There were windows, but they were slightly high up and Nikki didn’t seem like the type who would risk life and limb. She had to realize that Saffron would only torture her at best; murder was slightly frowned upon, especially by Remus Lupin. When she turned and walked out of the stall, she had occupied. Saffron only felt a chill in the air. The window was opened. Saffron had to wonder if she honestly had jumped; maybe she felt like Harry Potter and could summon her broomstick. But nobody was flying in the air and no blood was shed on the side of the building, so the fifth year had to be around.
Saffron slowly looked around kicking in doors as she past each stall. “Come out McFarland, I’m not going to hurt you.” She said in a sickly sing song voice. “You just startled me. Now come out from you’re hiding place before you get hurt.” Saffron kept her eyes open to look for the girl. Damn, she was like a rodent, when you really wanted to exterminate them, you couldn’t find them. Saffron heard something, she turned around expecting for Nikki to take her best shot, but it was a mouse. Saffron’s back was now to Nikki who was well hidden. Saffron would be none the wiser.

Nikki's head snapped around when she heard the locks on the bathroom turn. You know, whoever thought there needed to be locks on a public bathroom was a dunce. Who needed locks on a bathroom? Well, in situations where you had someone chasing you and you hid in the bathroom it would be very convenient, but at this specific moment in time was a nuisence.
Nikki looked back at Saffron, she didn't look so good, but Nikki's natural concern for a fellow student was thrown at the window. There was no reason for Saffron to lock Nikki in the bathroom with her unless her condition was something she didn't want people to know about. Even then, Nikki knew how to keep secrets, even for a Slytherin. Especially for a Slytherin who looked like she was willing to kill to keep her secret safe.
"No one can help you now," Saffron said in a grough voice. She didn't sound too good. "You are mine..." Okay, Saffron was a nutter. Who the hell said "You are mine"? Honestly. Nikki felt like she was in a bad horror film. However these thoughts didn't help calm her any. Saffron was starting to look like she was possessed. You don't mess with possessed people.
Nikki reached into the sleeve of her uniform and pulled out her wand. She pointed it at the bathroom door and said "Alohamora!" She ran at the door and pulled on the handle. To Nikki's great displeasure, the door didn't budge. Nikki quickly looked over her shoulder to see how close Saffron was behind her, but the girl was crawling into one of the stalls. Well, that would seem a bit less threatening if the doors were LOCKED! Nikki panicked and went to the windows, pointing her wand at them and forcing them open. Now... now, how was she going to get down. Nikki peered over the side of the window. Far too high to jump. What else did she have in her arsinal? She'd left her broom back in her room. In hind sight it probably would have been a better costume if she'd brought her broom. Damn. All right...what else did she have. Her wand. She had no idea what charm would get her safely to the ground. They really needed to teach you how to think while underpressure.
Nikki heard Saffron standing and quickly dived into one of the stalls. she crawled along the floor, moving from stall to stall as Saffron moved about. Thankfully she didn't spot her.
"Come out, McFarland, I'm not going to hurt you." Bullshit. Nikki thought to herself. She really needed to work on her evil talk. "You just startled me." And that's why you locked the door? Don't think so. "Now come out from your hiding place before you get hurt." What, were the toilets going to eat her? Not as likely as Saffron hexing her.
Something fell across the way, catching Saffron's attention. Nikki contemplated running for the door and trying the charm again, but she had a better idea. Slowly, Nikki pulled her wand out and pointed it at Saffron's back.
